The Diane von Furstenberg Evian collaboration represents the first time a female American designer was given the privilege to design the Evian bottle. Diane took a new approach to the design process and began brainstorming the significance water has in her own life. She found herself repeating words like "love," "life" and "water," thus, coming up with the slogan and title of the collection, "Water is Life is Love is Life is Water."
Diane shied away from the overtly designed concepts of past collaborators and kept the bottle sleek, minimalistic and emblazoned the bottle with her powerful words. The slogan has a lyrical quality and the font chosen on the final product is whimsical and ornamental.
Stemming from her consumption of Evian as a child, Diane expressed her devotion to the brand through her beautiful design. Look out for the limited edition bottles set to hit shelves November 5, 2012.
