Ejaita’s illustrations of multicolored abstract humanoids, animals, and geometric shapes cover the exterior of the wallets, which arrive in small, medium, and large. The drawings are dipped in bold colors like gold, azure blue, green, and more, while the CDG branding elements in clean white finish off the accessories.
Diana Ejaita is a Nigerian-Italian artist who specializes in illustration, textile design, and silkscreen design. Her work has graced the covers of The New Yorker, articles from The New York Times, and more. The COMME des GARÇONS Wallet x Diana Ejaita collection launches on Saturday, October 29 in-stores and online at Dover Street Market.
