Intimate Graffiti Murals

This D*Face Mural Features a Couple Embraced in a Farewell Kiss

Sweden's ArtScape Festival recently featured a D*Face mural that depicts the connection between departing lovers. Dubbed the 'Last Embrace Before Departure,' the mural is 80 ft tall and adheres to the British artist's preferred style of classic comic book graffiti.

The mural almost covers a Malmo building entirely and it can be seen from miles away. And while it may sound obnoxious, it is anything but. It sheds light on the passion and love that humans can endure. It depicts a couple kissing each other in a hold that looks as though it could never be unlocked. They both resemble comic book characters of the pop art era, but D*Face includes modernity by surrounding the couple with a plethora of his trademarked dog logos and by using vibrant graffiti techniques.
