Lien Nguyen is a recent culinary management graduate of Toronto's George Brown College who has aspired to create an excrement-themed dessert restaurant for some time.
Now set to launch her dreams into reality, her acutely named 'Poop Café Dessert Bar' will be located in the city's Koreatown, where Lien Nguyen will offer up a variety of traditional Asian recipes which she says "will be brown, formed like a stool and served in toilet-shaped dishes."
With her strange dessert restaurant concept, she hopes to changes peoples' perception on the topic, which she explained to the Toronto Star by saying "I’m trying to make poop cute." Lien Nguyen was inspired to create the Poop Café Dessert Bar after visiting a shop in Taiwan with a similar concept -- with the fun atmosphere and novelty idea making her want to bring it to Toronto.
