In order to sate a growing need for customization in food products, Houston's Three Brothers Bakery is now selling Design-A-Cookie kits. These all-in-one kits include everything that is needed or decorating, including some of the shop's best-selling gingerbread cookies dipped in sugar and white chocolate, piping bags, colored buttercream icing and sprinkles. In keeping with the July 4th festivities that will soon be happening, the kits are packed with colors that are fitting for the All-American celebration.
Retailing for about $15, the custom cookie kit price is a bargain for six cookies and all the decorating tools needed. Although this Design-A-Cookie kit is the first of its kind to be launched this Memorial Day, the bakery has plans to continue offering these packs throughout the year by rotating the seasonal flavors and colors.
