Instacart and Delta have announced a new partnership that will see Delta SkyMiles members able to enjoy exclusive perks just for doing their grocery shopping via the app.
The partnership will see members rewarded with SkyMiles for doing their grocery shopping on Instacart, where they will get one mile for every $1 spent, while Instacart Express members will get 1.5 miles for every $1 spent. Members will also get exclusive access to extended free trials to enjoy Instacart Express for up to 12 months.
Director of SkyMiles Partnerships at Delta Josh Kaehler commented on the collaboration with Instacart, saying, "We want our SkyMiles members to feel valued and rewarded every single day. As we welcome new members to the SkyMiles program at record levels, we know most shop for groceries more often than they fly. This new partnership is a way for us to give our most loyal customers even more value outside of their travel journey."
