With the Deloitte Montreal offices expanding seven storeys, taking steps to ensure that a positive work culture is promoted is an important and difficult task.
To bring more of a community focus to the building, while also making its many resources highly accessible, the team at 'Reich+Petch Design' adapted the space. The project was dubbed the 'Deloitte Wayfinding Project,' in reference to the versatile workstations it created. Rather than having a set place for each employee to use every day, Reich+Petch incorporated "check-in kiosks" (which could also be accessed through mobile) that would give teams a fresh place to work daily. In addition, the firm provided more space for wheelchairs and scooters, as well accessible furniture and equipment, ramps and more.
With this, the Deloitte Montreal offices were made to be more inclusive and open to communication, as employees were constantly working in a fresh area -- which helps to increase morale and energize daily routines as well.
