Deliveroo UAE has tapped EEE Moto and EcoWay to launch an innovative pilot program to integrate electric bikes into their delivery fleet, enhancing sustainable delivery solutions in Dubai.
The primary objective of this pilot program is to thoroughly evaluate the performance and reliability of electric bikes in actual delivery scenarios. The program aims to ensure efficient and uninterrupted delivery services by leveraging advanced battery-swapping technology. The evaluation will cover various aspects, including battery life, charging times, and the overall operational efficiency of electric bikes in urban delivery contexts.
Strategically placed battery-swapping stations, equipped with fully charged batteries, will play a crucial role in this initiative. These stations will be conveniently located at Deliveroo HOP sites. In addition, Deliveroo has partnered with esteemed restaurants such as My Govindas and Jeff Darbar to integrate these battery-swapping stations within their premises.
The new program will launch on June 10, 2024.
