De Rotterdam Set to be Biggest Building in Netherlands

The Netherlands is about to receive a new 'biggest building' once construction is complete on De Rotterdam. It's massive size is only the tip of the iceberg. It will include such features as cafes, gyms, shops, restaurants and even a built-in hotel. It's no wonder this is referred to as a "vertical city!"

Created by Dutch architects Office for Metropolitan Architecture, this complex will be comprised of three interconnected towers. The principles of this project are said to focus on two key factors: urban density and diversity.

Once De Rotterdam is complete, it will stand at 150 meters. Construction is scheduled to begin in December, so be sure to check it out once it is complete!
