DoorDash, an American food ordering and delivery platform, has announced the launch of 'DashPass for Students,' a discounted membership plan that will be available to all undergraduate and graduate students at accredited US-based colleges and universities.
DashPass for Students will cost $4.99 a month, which is half the price of a traditional DoorDash membership plan. In addition, students will have the option to sign up for an Annual Student Plan, which will cost $48 per year. Also, a free 30-day trial will be offered for students who have never signed up for DoorDash before.
"With the launch of DashPass for Students, we’re excited to change the game for students with a plan that’s designed specifically for them and provides access to everything from late-night study snacks and grocery items to school supplies and dorm essentials," said Kofi Amoo-Gottfried, DoorDash’s chief marketing officer
