Star Wars fans with a soft side for the environment are going to want to check out the Darth Vader upcycled mask. The mask, made by Gabriel Dishaw, is constructed primarily out of adding machines, typewriters and old computers. (He used an actual Darth Vader mask for the base.) Dishaw is known for taking old electronics and turning them into awesome pieces of upcycled art. He has worked with shoes in the past, covering Nikes in old circuit boards.
While there's nothing wrong with a pair of Nikes covered in computer parts, nothing beats an environmentally friendly piece of art inspired by the sith lord, Darth Vader. The piece is eclectic, to say the least. All of the buttons make it look like a found-art project, but the brass pieces on the facemask give it more of a steampunk feel. If you would like to own the Darth Vader upcycled mask, Dishaw has it listed in his Etsy store for $800.
