Star Wars fans are not often thought of as being admirers of ballet, but that didn’t stop Jennifer Walchli from designing this Darth Vader Tutu for her Etsy page Frosting Shop. Replicating the ominous black cape of the fallen Jedi in a more form fitting construction, the Darth Vader tutu lets geeky girls pirouette while demonstrating their love for the science fiction epic. Walchli even recreated Vader’s memorable chest plate, complete with multicolored buttons that helped regulate the villain’s breathing. All that’s missing from the ensemble is a helmet.
The Darth Vader Tutu is currently selling for a modest $75.00, which isn’t a lot considering it’s a one of a kind item. No doubt R2-D2 and C-3PO variations of the dress are currently in the works.
