American DJ and electronic dance music producer Jauz partnered with technology company Wave to launch a special live virtual music performance on January 8th -- ahead of his scheduled eight-stop Dangerous Waters Tour.
Fans attended this virtual tour via YouTube and Twitch and got the chance to play "games within the game" during the live performance. Attendees participate in the immersive VR experience using their own avatars to watch a virtual Jauz descent into "dangerous waters" in real-time.
This is not the first live-streamed event hosted by the musician. He previously partnered with Discord to host a monthly "Demo Roulette" that gave fans the chance to co-produce a song with the artist and participate in the creative process.
