Dallas Clayton is described as the "next Dr. Seuss" and is best known for his ‘Awesome Book’ series for kids that he draws and illustrates. Clayton says that the process of writing and illustrating children’s books has always been more about sharing ideas than producing a physical book. This is especially true for Clayton’s first digital storybook, which was just released as an iPad app for kids; but ‘Dallas The Dinosaur’s Dream Diary’ is more than just a book.
Dallas The Dinosaur’s Dream Diary tells the story of a dinosaur who dreams that his birthday party is on the moon. The story is full of animations, sounds and even narration by Clayton himself as Dallas makes his quest to the moon. As well as being able to read along, kids can change the words and edit elements of the story to make it their own.
The app from Storypanda is $4.99 on the iTunes app store and it could easily become the go-to story for bedtime.
