The Daiya Mac & Cheese dry boxed pasta products are making their debut in the US and Canada markets to provide consumers with a dairy-free way to enjoy the classic comfort food.
The product is making its way to Walmart and The Fresh Market in the US where shoppers can pick it up in Cheddar, White Cheddar and Aged Cheddar Varieties. The Cheddar and White Cheddar options are launching at Metro and Loblaws in Canada. The pasta products are all Non-GMO Project Verified and offer an elevated take on the classic cheesy boxed pasta products on the market.
Chief Marketing Officer John Kelly commented on the new Daiya Mac & Cheese dry boxed pasta products saying, "We’re always listening to customer requests for new products and innovations as we expand our consumer base – and felt a convenient, dairy-free dry powdered Mac & Cheese with delicious flavour was missing on the shelf – so we developed one. Innovation and development are at the core of what we do at Daiya, and we are always looking for ways to encourage plant-based and dairy-free food exploration – even if you’re not 100% plant-based."
