Designer Yohji Yamamoto worked in collaboration with Ishimoro Productions on a special capsule collection that is centered around the highly celebrated manga character Cyborg 009. The character was created by the late Shotaro Ishinomori and can now be seen adorning a selection of unisex apparel. Cyborg 009 is accompanied by additional characters such as antagonist Black Ghost. Some silhouettes include soft knitted sweaters and long-sleeve shirts to transition into the fall season.
Notably, the anime series is meeting its 52nd anniversary soon and this latest collection is the perfect celebration of the milestone. The entire Yohji Yamamoto x Cyborg 009 collection is set to drop at all Yohji Yamamoto stockist locations beginning December 1st.
