A retired man, David Bahnson, built a custom kayak for him and his two golden retrievers after he saw how much the first dog enjoyed the paddles. Wanting to make room for the three of them to go on cross-water adventures, he built another hole in the front section of the boat. As his dogs enjoy traveling with him on water, land or air -- the dog owner turned carpenter enjoyed remodeling the custom kayak.
Similar to a three-person kayak, there are three holes -- one including the baggage compartment -- which wouldn't have enough room for kayakers' legs but is just enough space for the pets. The modification allows for the two loyal companions to go along for the rides, surprisingly never jumping out of the low boat.
