The Cross Valet from designer José Jorge Hinojosa Primo is a religion-inspired home organizer. The cross-shaped design features three wooden bins that can each be used to store random odds and ends while also reminding you to atone for your sins.
While I'm not the religious type, I do really like the Cross Valet from a design standpoint. Using only three storage bins was a good choice as it frees up the lower half of the cross to be used to store bigger items such as books. Most designers seem to work with crosses only in an attempt to draw attention to themselves and their work. Primo has managed to create a cross-shaped design that is more functional than it is controversial.
