This waffle and croissant hybrid is now available at IHOP. The International House of Pancakes recently added the Criss-Croissant to their menu in two flavors. Available in blackberry lemonade and strawberry rhubarb, the croissants are baked like waffles and folded over themselves. They are made by putting croissant dough into a waffle iron, meaning they have the texture of a waffle while maintaining the light and flaky quality of the croissant. The Blackberry Lemonade Criss-Croissant contains lemonade cream and is topped with blackberries, where as the Strawberry Rhubarb Criss-Croissant has sweet cream cheese and has a strawberry rhubarb sauce.
The waffle croissant hybrid will only be around for a limited time (until April 5, 2015) at participating IHOP restaurants.
