I would be lying if I said that I wasn't caught off guard by the photo shoot for the Creative Recreation Summer 2011 collection. Most shoe companies advertise their shoes using beautiful babes or famous faces, but Creative Recreation has decided to do things on the cheap here and shoot their new shoes against a backdrop of junk.
Creative Recreation's Turino is the star of the show here, appearing in two styles, a weathered black leather mid-top and a weathered brown leather low-top. I have become a fan of weathered and distressed shoes as of late, as I love the idea of being able to beat up a pair of shoes, especially a pair of expensive shoes, without having to worry about minor scuff marks.
