Just in time for chili season, Trader Joe's has debuted new Cornbread Bites. Though these snacks are bite-sized, they're big on flavor.
Trader Joe's new Cornbread Bites are tiny balls of sweet, yellow corn mixed with masa flour cornbread. To dough is then filled with a mix of pepper jack and gouda cheeses, along with white corn and bits of serrano, jalapeño, and chipotle peppers finished in a smoky adobo sauce. To serve the Cornbread Bites, consumers simply have to pop them in the oven for 15 minutes to give the outside a bit of crisp and to warm the cheese filling on the inside. As Trader Joe's explains, "They're swell as a snack, or as an easy appetizer at your next fall fête — you can present them to guests on a platter."
