Coors Light Chillboards were created in response to ever-rising temperatures and they serve as a clever way for the brand to promote its drinks. The idea builds off of the brand's Made to Chill slogan and the billboards take up space on the tops of apartment buildings in Miami rather than the usual spaces in city centers. Thanks to Mule-Hide Finish reflective white proof coating, the text on the top of the buildings is effective for deflecting 85% of sunlight. Amazingly, the paint alone makes it possible for the temperature of the roof to be lowered by nearly 50 degrees.
Although these billboards are out of sight, they provide refreshment in a unique way. And to help more people stay cool, Coors Light will be giving away 5,000 gallons of the roof coating.
