The 'Antivilla' was created by Brandlhuber + Emde, Schneider architecture studio and is a rejection of conventional villas in the surrounding neighborhood. These architects felt that too many "Nouveau Riche" villas were appearing in their neighborhood and wanted to break up this fad with their minimalist and contemporary residential design.
The architects took a'German Democratic Republic lingerie factory and converted it into this stunning property. Located just outside of Berlin, this converted house features a concrete interior and exterior -- giving it a very industrial and contemporary look. The interior's concrete layout is outlined with minimalistic decor and a theme of spatial efficiency. The home also features a concrete tower that is certainly a conversation starter.
