Designed for a young family with an eye for design, this contemporary residence is created in a way that uses pillars to support a roof that literally looks like it’s hovering above the landscape.
"It was this tripartition of a monolithic base, an empty space that turns out to be functional, and a constructed element that stands out in the landscape giving a sense of protection and at the same time structural weakness that fascinated us," says architect Henrique Marques from Spaceworkers.
This epic architectural feat is not only aesthetically rugged and utilitarian, it includes a bevy of functional and entertainment facilities like a garage, laundry, storage room and a swimming pool.
