"The health and education ministries and the United Nations sponsored a nationwide contest for students to design the dispenser. Three potential models were selected on Friday," AOL news said.
The condom vending machines will be installed in 100 schools in 2008 to make taking sexual precautions much easier. It will hopefully make it easier for youngens too shy to ask for rubbers at their local drug store to get the protection they need.
If Brazil's initiative is successful in preventing the spread of AIDS among youth, maybe other countries will consider the investment a worthy one for their own schools.
