Chiseled Concrete Murals

A Group of Artists is Reinventing Street Art in Bosnia

A group of artists have recently opened an abandoned factory and revealed a series of concrete murals titled 'Walls.' The group uses an apt name for the collection of murals, which take advantage of the crumbling concrete in an old unused factory.

In a rather inexpensive but strenuous manner, the three young artists chiseled away at the factory's walls to create beautiful and realistic portraits. The team behind Walls thought that creating murals with traditional material was not creative enough and decided to deconstruct the existing material and create something new instead.

The trio, made up of a street artist, a painter and an architecture student are also responsible for an evolving Bosnia's street art scene, where many of their techniques are practiced.
