The Concrete Bin looks like it has a smoldering bottom, as though a blacksmith has just taken it out of a fire to forge it with a hammer. Of course, if that was the case, the Concrete Bin wouldn't be made out of concrete, but wrought iron. In reality, the light fixture boasts a unique blend of two materials, the second of which is silicone rubber.
Created by Netherlands-based industrial designer Renate Vos, the Concrete Bin takes the shape of a bucket, hence its name, with a somewhat transparent rim that allows a warm glow to seep through. The tough aesthetic of the cement is softened nicely with this welcoming effect.
The Concrete Bin is perfect for modern homes.
