The announcement highlights the significant challenges coaches face, as reported in the CAO's Ontario Coaching Report, with over half of coaches citing financial constraints as a major issue and many organizations struggling to find enough qualified coaches.
Additionally, the Hydro One Safe Play Award nominations are now open. This award recognizes a coach who demonstrates a strong commitment to safety within their community.
