Marvel Comics is launching Models Inc., a new comic series based on famous girls featured in Marvel Comic book history. Stories will include someone getting killed during New York Fashion week, at which point Marvel Comic book models will team up to solve the murder mystery.
On Aug. 26, Marvel will release the first issue of "Models Inc.," a sartorially minded mini-series that will unite some of its fashion-friendly supporting characters and push them into new starring roles. The comic book sleuth models also include Millie the Model, Patsy Walker (aka Hellcat) and Mary Jane, the model who is the wife of Spider-man. Millicent is the prime suspect in the murder of a set designer. It’s Charlie’s Angels meets Scooby Doo.
