ColoTest is Arriving at 3,700 Walmart Locations in the US

The ColoTest fecal immunochemical test from Reese Pharmaceutical is making its debut at Walmart as a way for consumers to screen themselves for potentially serious health problems from the comfort of home.

The test works by identifying blood hidden in the stool to potentially detect for early signs of colon cancer or gastrointestinal disorders like diverticulitis, colitis and polyps. The test responds to the increasing number of consumers in the US who are being diagnosed with colon cancer and provides a safe, comfortable way to screen from home.

President of Reese Pharmaceutical Jeffrey Reese spoke on the ColoTest fecal immunochemical test saying, "With colon cancer rates on the rise, addressing barriers to screening is critical. ColoTest is an important option that offers a convenient, affordable, non-invasive test that can identify invisible blood in stool, a key warning sign for colorectal cancer and other gastrointestinal abnormalities. We're proud to now offer this important tool to Walmart customers, significantly expanding its availability and the opportunity to get more Americans screened for this often deadly cancer."
