Contrasting Colorful Sculpture Exhibitions

Studio Mutt Creates Four Chromatic Mixed-Media Artworks

For London Design Festival, architecture firm Studio Mutt unveils four colorful sculptures at the Sir John Soane's Museum. The artworks are distinctly noticeable as they offer a strong contrast in their respected display environments.

Dubbed 'Out of Character,' each creation by Studio Mutt is designed to represent a lawyer, a monk, a magician and an architect from a contemporary point of view. Each one of the colorful sculptures is set up in a different room of the museum which, on the other hand, heavily emphasizes the merits of neo-classical architecture. There is, of course, a link between the colorful sculptures and their respected rooms. The Monk, for example, is set to occupy the Monk's Parlour within the Sir John Soane's Museum.

Studio Mutt's abstract creations and mode of presentation surely draw the noticeable dichotomy between classical architecture and modern design.
