'Colonna' is a modular three piece table and chair set designed to inspire lounging like a Greek god or goddess. The oversized polyurethane forms are modelled after a Greek column, broken down into three modular pieces and named after architectural parts.
When not in use, the set of three can be stacked vertically to save space. The cleverly angled angular slashes through the pieces give the furniture function and dynamism, as well as the look of architectural ruins. The most shapely of the set is the 'Capitello,' designed after the head of a column and complete with curly volutes.
'Colonna' was created for Gufram by Studio 65, another addition to the company's collection of iconic and unusual seating designs.
