Paris' Future Plans

Collectif et alors Unveils a Gloriously Green Paris for the Year 2100

+2º is a special exhibition put on by the architecture firm Collectif et alors as part of Paris’ Week of Sustainable Development. The architects Yannick Gourvil and Cécile Leroux have collaborated together to create an image of Paris in the year 2100. The design is extremely eco and includes greenery absolutely everywhere. There are riverbanks to go swimming in, grassy walkways with tropical parrots flying about and a futuristic wind farm.

Collectif et alors is taking global warming seriously and has high hopes for a greener future. They want to launch a bike share system, have community gardens to grow fresh fruits and vegetables and diminish as many power lines as possible. They feel that the future needs to have a greater focus on pedestrian life and focus less on technology.
