Architect Paul Garbett decided to turn his caffeine addiction into something creative. The Sydney-based designer decided to take his used coffee cups and turn them into scenes of art. He draws on them and turns them into a wide range of scenarios and characters.
He uses toys and props to create scenes that include a smoke-stack factory with workers, a skate park and a native American in front of a tee-pee. Some of the imaginative characters he created by just using paint include Batman, a jack-o-lantern, a ghost and totem pole. Many of the cups are actually quite deceiving. For example, one cup replicates a roll of salami and even includes "slices of the meat."
These wide-range of coffee cup canvases can be seen on his 'Cuppaday' blog ,which he constantly updates.
