The cocktail machine is programmed to mix beverages like a 70-proof gin and tonic and 160-proof bloody mary. This contraption was created as part of their contact-less cutlery project. This project is a collaborative one between Lick Me I'm Delicious Founder Charlie Harry Francis and Bristol University Ultrasonics Professor Bruce Drinkwater. It was Dr. Drinkwater who introduced the key element of sound waves. He explains the machine uses "very powerful sound waves in the ultrasonic spectrum which crucially are beyond the range of human hearing."
