Pop Bottle Proposals

Donnie McGilvray Asked His Wife to Marry Him Using Coca-Cola Bottles

The newly released retro Coca-Cola bottles that come with names spelt out across the label recently inspired Donnie McGilvary to use the same pop bottles to propose to his soon-to-be wife Eloise. Instead of getting down on one knee, McGilvary set up various Coca-Cola bottles in his fridge in the hopes that Eloise would see the untraditional proposal and accept.

The latest vintage-looking Coca-Cola bottles are sold with various names written on them to add a personal touch to the iconic soft drink. Inspired by this, McGilvary had several bottles made up to spell out "Beautiful Eloise will you marry me?" He hid the bottles in his fridge so that Eloise would find them when she opened up the fridge door. While you can't purchase these bottles, many people are having fun recreating the Coca-Cola name labels using Photoshop.
