Guerrilla street art takes on a quirky twist with the cling wrap monster sculptures designed by artist Bosso Fakata.
Creating giant creatures using recycled materials such as cardboard boxes and tubing, the artist then wraps them up in lots and lots of saran wrap and installs them in various busy public areas. Often attaching themselves to street lamps, sign posts and other structural elements, the friendly creatures gaze out over passersby, making them stop and stare at the unusual artwork made mostly out of trash.
Plenty of found and salvaged elements are incorporated into the sculptures as Bosso Fakata takes junk and gives it new purpose and life in the shapes and quirky characters created within a cling wrap encasement.
