Punk Makeup Ads

The CK One Cosmetics SS12 Campaign is Colorfully Edgy

The CK One Cosmetics SS12 ad campaign takes a predominantly punk approach to market its latest line of makeup. Bright eyeshadows are paired with nose piercings while nude lips are complemented by mohawks. Nevertheless, there are some classic looks thrown into the mix so as to not alienate the average woman.

Captured by photographer David Sims, the CK One Cosmetics SS12 ad campaign stars a troop of models: Lara Stone, Abbey Lee Kershaw, Ruby Aldridge, Herieth Paul, Eliza Cummings, Fei Fei Sun and Ehren Dorsey. Working in collaboration with creative director Fabien Baron, Sims shoots the beauties against a plain backdrop, allowing their flawless faces to stand out. Each print is superimposed with the makeup it is promoting.
