Micah Rosenblatt Designs the City Block Collection of Furniture

Local designer Micah Rosenblatt introduces the City Block collection comprised of steel furniture. It is complete in green light automotive paint that is inspired by the architectural influences throughout New York City. There are 16 pieces in total -- this includes dining room tables, sculptural floor lamps, a love seat, and chairs.

Rosenblatt speaks to Dezeen about the series, stating "[The expressions] are based on the cityscape and my relationship to it. It's the forms that you would look out and see on your horizon via whatever time period you're in. I'm primarily a metalworker. So [I used] metal as the language to play with that both as a construction material, but also as the decorative elements as well."
