Cipher Skin has teamed up with Parker Health to launch a new pilot program aimed at bringing tech-enabled physical therapy to Medicaid patients and Medicare.
The partnership will provide Cipher Skin's wearable motion and biometric-tracking technology to specific orthopedic clinics that use Parker Health's platform. Ideally, by enhancing patient engagement and care plan completion, this partnership will improve physical rehabilitation services for Medicaid patients. Orthopedic patients who employ Cipher Skin's Biosleeve as part of their treatment will be the primary focus of the pilot trial.
"By working together we can provide real-time recovery and biometric data to providers who can use that information to help optimize care plans, reduce unnecessary surgeries and hospitalizations, and improve health outcomes for patients with musculoskeletal issues," said Vince Lopez, CEO at Parker Health.
