Rexhep Rexhepi, the founder of luxury jewelry brand Akrivia, has officially unveiled his latest timepiece creation, the 'Chronomètre Contemporain II.' Made in collaboration with renowned case maker Jean-Pierre Hagmann, the new piece features restored antique equipment to offer shoppers a highly-intricate, handcrafted collector's item.
The Chronomètre Contemporain II is offered in two versions -- a rose gold 5N or platinum iteration -- both of which feature a 38mm case and comprise 15 different parts. In addition, the watch features a grand feu enamel dial and unique heat-treated minute hands; the platinum version also comes equipped with a hand-engraved seconds register.
Powering the 'Chronomètre Contemporain II' is a hand-wound Caliber RRC02 movement, which features a power reserve of 82 hours.
