This Christmas coffee cocktail recipe is not for the faint of heart (or those who suffer heart palpitations). Combining several different types of alcohol and caffeine is definitely dangerous, but lets face it: the holidays are a stressful time of year, and many of us would benefit from a wee little pick-me-up.
Angie McGowan of the Eclectic Recipes blog used the Keurig Vue Brewing system to whip up four ounces of strong, hot coffee. She then combined the coffee with amaretto liqueur, coffee liqueur, creme de cocoa and butterscotch schnapps, creating a rich, delicious flavor -- that's also incredibly strong.
To garnish, apply a generous helping of whipped cream and some freshly grated chocolate. The drink can also be served over ice if you're looking to shake things up!
