The Food52 5-Ingredient Chocolate Bon Bons are made without having to turn on an oven. The recipe comes from Kendra Vaculin's Hangry blog which aims to post noteworthy meals for those looking to satisfy cravings in a quick and simple manner.
When Vaculin and her sister were young, they would cook without turning on any appliances via these bake-free snacks. She has since perfected the dessert with the use of graham crackers, almond butter, powdered sugar and dark chocolate chips.
Approximately one dozen Chocolate Bon Bons can be made through Vaculin's post. For those that are gluten free, the graham crackers can be swapped out. Of course, depending on how one prefers the treats, they can also be infused with varying toppings such as coconut shavings, crushed almonds and icing.
