Tinker Hatfield is the brains behind some of the most iconic sneaker silhouettes and color palettes by Nike and the latest to drop by the icon is the Chlorophyll colorway that decorates the Air Trainer 1 sneaker. The retro sneaker model comes to life from the original launch in 2020 and is inspired by Portland YMCA's gym equipment.
It has a base foundation of smooth leather done in a crisp white hue as suede materials overlay on top in grey for a touch of tonal and textural contrast. This covers the front, the lower heels, and the quarters. There are also some branding accents that can be seen on the tongue and the heel, rounded out at the toe box straps.
