Burger King New Zealand is giving its popular Chip Butty Sandwich an upgrade with the introduction of the new Chip Butty with Bacon.
For those unfamiliar, a chip butty is a French fry sandwich that's popular in the UK, as well as places like Australia and New Zealand. Now Burger King New Zealand recently put a twist on the sandwich with its new Chip Butty with Bacon. The simple dish consists of a soft sesame seed bun topped with Burger King's crispy golden fries, mayo, ketchup, and strips of bacon.
Meanwhile, Hungry Jacks' (which is the Australian arm of Burger King) is offering a similar Cheesy Bacon Chip Butty made with crumbled bacon and cheese sauce.
