Red Balloon Helps School Children Correct Errors in Celebrity Tweets

While the shorthands and incorrect terminology used to get messages across through social media outlets are extremely common, things such as grammatical errors in celebrity tweets can negatively influence young teenagers who look up to those famous figures as idols.

In an effort to combat the wrong use of language children see every day, the Red Balloon education institute in Brazil got its young students to find all of the errors in their favorite celebrity's Twitter updates and send responses with the correct spelling and terminology.

All in good fun, this Red Balloon project promotes proper grammar while incorporating a playfully social interaction with celebrity tweets that demonstrates you don't have to hang on every single word a celebrity says, especially if it is misspelled.
