Studio Tololo Ugarte Designs the Tiny Vaulted Catalejo Home

Studio Tololo Ugarte has created a premium and sophisticated vaulted compact home dubbed the Catalejo. The word translates to Spyglass and the residence is inspired by the surrounding nature around it. The lines of the structure blends the interiors of the home with the site itself. On the location are four established trees that are over 300 years old and the landscape is luscious throughout the summer seasons.

The house is filled with space as it has an extra high ceiling with an arched form and it supports the presence of various geometrically shaped windows. It is elevated above ground to ensure that the home does not harm the actual environment or landscape and allows for natural vegetation to grow under the home.
