Artist Joe Butcher spent his train commute drawing cartoon faces on sticky notes and taking pictures of them held up against his fellow commuters.
Among the designs includes one black-clad rider being turned into Batman, while another is turned into Spiderman. One gentleman in a striped shirt becomes Waldo from the Where's Waldo series of books, while an overhead light is turned into Yoda's lightsaber from Star Wars. These cartoon faces are humorous and a great way to pass the time on a long commute, whether it by train, bus or subway.
These cartoon faces are very well matched to their commuter. One rather humorous photo butcher took includes a commuter with face of the cat Tom seemingly glaring at a sticky of the mouse Jerry tacked onto Butcher's chair.
