Carluccio, a food brand belonging to Boparan Restaurant Group, has announced the launch of a new 16-item line of restaurant-inspired Italian dishes, which will be made available exclusively in 300 Sainsbury’s stores throughout the UK starting January 26.
Utilizing authentic Italian ingredients and recipes, the expansive new range sees the brand recreate a variety of classic dishes in a contemporary way. Ready-made meal options include a Roasted Mushroom Tagliatelle for one, a Beef and Chianti Lasagne for two, and multiple 12-inch pizzas variations. Moreover, the company has teamed up with Italian pasta brand Bertangi to develop three fresh pasta variations -- Ravioli, Mezzelune and Girasoli -- and two sauce options.
"From listening to customers, we know people would like to access our brands more regularly as part of their eating-at-home occasions, and this brand new fresh range from Carluccio’s allows us to bring them high-quality dishes inspired by our restaurants into their own home kitchens," said Phil Neale, Marketing and Communications Director at Boparan Restaurant Group.
