Car battery energy is good for a whole lot of things other than simply powering electric vehicles, which is why it makes for an absolutely brilliant and socially good idea to give the owners of electric vehicles to be able to feed back their unused energy from car batteries back into the grid in exchange for some extra cash.
Nissan has teamed up with power company Enel to introduce this program, which allows users sto connect their vehicle up to special units to supply power to the UK National Grid in exchange for money.
This program is about far more than just allowing electric vehicle owners to make some pocket money however, as it seeks to move towards a future where users will be able to use their cars as portable energy hubs.
